Here is some of the links to
stuff I've found across the 'net:
- Norway:
- Stig Rune Kristoffersen made the first Björk www-site. This site is now
closed, but I have got a local copy of it here.
Its got interviews, discography, links and pictures, but I probably wont
be modifying it further.
- Britain:
- The "official" Björk site is
Web Sense. One Little Indian
has taken it over. They also have their own site.
- Gideon Overhead has also made a
web page at his server. Most of the fun stuff is at his ftp-server though.
- In Liverpool you'll find Matthew Sephton's well
designed Björk Heaven, with news, quotes, lyrics, pictures and more.
- Iceland:
- Björk, 'Cubes and other Icelandic artists' works can be seen,
heard and bought at Bad Taste
ltd. They also got a large Sugarcubes picture archive.
- Ireland:
- Alan Cowap has
his own Björk room. It has links, pictures and more.
- USA (plus some unplaceable ones):
- Elektra
has their own Björk page. Pictures, sounds and links. If the link
doesn't work, try their main page
instead.
- Won Tchoi's
page is one of the most popular around. - Discography,
FAQ, links (including a list of online music stores), lots of pictures,
lyrics, articles and the subscription info. for blue-eyed-pop (the
Björk/Sugarcubes/Icelandic music mailinglist).
- Dom Crivello has made a
discography page. - Discographies (of everything Björk makes/made)
and links (also to online stores). (was down last time I checked)
- Warren
Rehman's "The Björk Page". Contains drawings of
Björk he has made as well as some pictures and links.
- In L.A. Brian Magerko has
a few pictures available at his page. (This link is probably expired)
- Matt
Herbison's page has two samples. One from Gling-Gló
(Luktar-Gvendur) and one of the 'Cubes (Regina).
- John
Goodman has mixed Björk's Human Behaviour into Mother's All
Funked Up. I haven't tested it out so I have no idea on how it sounds.
- Micah A.
Williams has made a kinda personal Björk page. Has pictures,
interviews and stories about how he became a fan of Björk and her
music. Check out his "dream time" page! (fellow fan's dreams about
Björk).
- Michael R. Lewis
made the #bjork IRC page. - Has lots of links and some info about #bjork
regulars.
-
Mike Meiners page of Björk resouces has rating (!). It has also got
links to online music stores and the Björk FAQ.
- Carla
Hallfridur Kruytbosch's page is hard to describe. Its topics are
Björk and Iceland/norse mythology.
- James Walsh took about a
hundred pictures of Björk when he saw her at a show in NYC last
summer. Quite a few are allready available at his site, and he'll
probable scan even more later.
- Hrannar
Ingimarsson has a small page containing mostly links and a .wav of
Björk pronouncing her name (haven't tested it so I'm not shure).
- Edward Helvey's Vudu page
contains a large Björk bio with lots of interview links. He has also
made a discography.
- Ryan
Quick have a couple of Quick-time movies at his page. Also a few
links...
- T.
Thomas Cheng has made a page with a couple of images he has scanned
as well as a few links.
- Brent
Dearth's page has an Army of Me .wav (sound) file as well as links.
- At the page of Guney
you'll find a few pictures, a few links as well as a copy of Sonia Q.
Garcia's discography.
- Alan Mak has
collected a few pictures, some old and quite a few new ones.
- Joshua Yadin Porter's page
has a nice news feature and also a graphical list of links as well as a
discography.
- Steven Lewis
has a page with pictures, links and a video-clip.
- Steve
Markus' page is one of the later additions to the "Björk-scape"
out there. Contains a few pics, some soundfiles and a videoclip. Nice
layout.
- Austria:
-
Robert Barta's Björk Guðmundsdóttir page is where
the binaries dwell. It contains lots of samples and video cuts of
Björk's solo stuff. The first blue-eyed-pop digests and the
bep-info are stored there as well as some interviews.
- Mexico:
- This page
contained 3 pictures last time I checked.
- Canada:
- Kris
Maling took a few pictures when he saw Björk at the Uxi festival
in Iceland. He has scans of a few of them at his page.
- A place called The Björk
Archives contains mostly articles and interviews (and links to them).
This page was down last time I checked it out.
- HMV has made a
page with 3 pictures of Björk when she visited Toronto August 8 '95
signing autographs.
- Taiwan:
- Lots of samples and a few
movie clips at this page.
- Germany:
- A
concert review of Björk's show 1995-10-03 at the Berlin
Tempodrom in german (!).
- Sweden:
- Finland:
- France:
- The page of Jean-Luc Droguet
has lyrics to Debut & Post, and 4 pictures (Warning! His picture page has
more than half a megabyte of inline images).
- I stumbled just across this page which
is about the Post singles. It is in french.
- Spain:
- I haven't really had the time to get a descent look at Israel Galan's page yet. It seems
quite cool though, with lots of contents. Nice layout too.
Btw. I'm also making the homepages for
The 3rd and the
Mortal
Comments on these pages are
